Hyundai Motor Company has grown in Australia since its introduction in the 1980s. It now occupies a permanent position as one of Australia’s top-selling vehicle brands.
Scope of fitout
To design and build an office fitout that aligns with the Hyundai Motor Company’s practical and cultural aspirations celebrating the harmony between design and functionality.
The refurbishment stretches across three floors and each floor needed to be unique but still part of the same family, fostering a connection with the natural environment.

Challenges
Hyundai still needed to use the space as an office. The build process needed to be conducted with minimum disruption.
A large section of the fitout is open plan. Any acoustic echoes needed to be mitigated.
Keeping the main section of the office as open plan but separated into different zones.
Solutions
We needed to sectionally complete the works to avoid any downtime for our client. Effective communication among all stakeholders was a key factor in the success of the fitout.
Planters were used in an aesthetically pleasing way to naturally divide office sections and also help reduce unwanted noise.
Using curved low height plaster walls allowed for different work zone sections in the open plan area.
